Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.

Both children and babies are warmly welcomed, and an enclosed, child- and dog-safe plot of 450 square meters provides a secure environment for the whole family or guests travelling with up to two pets.

The chalet comprises a light-filled living room with modern, high-quality furnishings such as a comfortable sofa, armchair, and a dining area with an inviting dining table. For entertainment, a large digital TV (44-55 inch range), including international cable channels, is available, while high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbit/s, e.g. via cable or fibre optic) ensures seamless connectivity. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer access to a private terrace, equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, and a sun umbrella, from where guests can enjoy the exceptional lake and sea views. The adjacent garden and lawn area invite you to unwind or play outdoors, benefiting from the privacy of a fenced, individually managed property with an area for children's or pet activities.

The open-plan kitchen features modern appliances, including an induction stove, electric oven, refrigerator with integrated freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, Senseo espresso machine, regular coffeemaker, toaster, and kettle. Ample kitchen utensils, dishes, and cutlery make meal preparation both convenient and enjoyable. The dining area, integrated into the kitchen-living concept, is ideal for shared meals and lively conversations.

The bathroom is equipped with a floor-level shower, washbasin, mirror, hairdryer and window for ventilation, while a separate guest WC and a spacious wardrobe add to the functionality. Heating is provided by an environmentally friendly solar heating system, and additional comfort is offered by a fireplace, air conditioning (in the living room), and fly screens for restful nights. Safety is a priority, with smoke detector and fire extinguisher present.

For practical needs, a vacuum cleaner, clothes airer, and shared washing machine and dryer facilities are available. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the on-site table tennis as well as numerous opportunities in the immediate surroundings for cycling, jogging, hiking, watersports such as canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, motorboating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, waterskiing, and golf (golf course at 10 km distance). The property also grants secure, free parking for one car and offers a charging station for electric vehicles.

All essential shops, banks, and restaurants are located within a 500 metre radius. The city centre of Enkhuizen is only 1.2 km away and easily reached on foot or by bike, while public transport is conveniently accessible with the train station 2 km away. Medical care is locally provided.
