About Our Holiday Park

Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.

The Enkhuizer Strand Chalet Strandpanorama Zweite Reihe mit Zaun, House No. 203, offers an exceptional retreat for families, couples, or small groups seeking relaxation and recreation by the waterside. Situated in the reputable EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand resort, this detached chalet stands on a generous 450 m² fenced plot, only 200 meters from the shoreline, allowing you to enjoy extraordinary panoramic views of the sea and surrounding landscapes. This premium location also places you within walking distance (500 m) of shops and restaurants, ensuring daily conveniences and dining options are effortlessly accessible.

Constructed in 2021, the chalet combines modern comforts with a welcoming atmosphere. The spacious, single-story layout of 78 m² includes two bedrooms, a large living room, and an open-plan kitchen. Up to four guests will find restful sleep in beds with open footboards, perfect for adults and children alike. Blackout facilities in the bedrooms offer restful nights, while windows with insect screens and the option to close off the terrace or balcony add an extra layer of comfort and security.

The living room is equipped with a sectional sofa and armchairs, providing a pleasant place to unwind. A fireplace stove ensures cozy warmth during cooler evenings, supported by a sustainable solar heating system. For entertainment, guests can enjoy international cable TV on a 44–55-inch digital television set and benefit from high-speed Wi-Fi (100 Mbit/s or more), ideal for streaming or remote work.

The open kitchen is seamlessly integrated with the living area and features modern appliances: an induction stove, electric oven, built-in fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, water kettle, Senseo espresso machine, and traditional coffee maker. Well-equipped with dishes, cutlery, and essential kitchenware, it invites guests to prepare everything from quick breakfasts to more elaborate meals. A spacious dining area offers room for shared meals or family game nights.

The bathroom features step-free, ground-level shower access, a washbasin, WC, mirror, and window. An additional guest restroom provides further convenience. Laundry needs are accommodated with both a communal washing machine and dryer, as well as a private drying rack.

Children and dogs are welcome at the chalet (up to two dogs allowed). The fully enclosed and child-friendly garden includes secure boundaries, suitable for both young guests and pets. Garden furniture, sun loungers, a parasol, and a lawn create a perfect environment for sunbathing or playing. The presence of a playground and a table tennis table within the resort further enhances family enjoyment.

A private parking space and an on-site charging station for electric vehicles are available free of charge, ensuring both convenience and sustainability. The property features complete amenities for comfort and safety, including air conditioning (in the living room), a wardrobe, full-length mirror, vacuum cleaner, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and security measures. The chalet is non-smoking throughout.

The idyllic location appeals to a wide range of activities: direct access to the beach and water for swimming, water sports (such as surfing, sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing), and cycling or hiking along the waterfront and scenic routes. Golf courses (10 km), as well as nearby opportunities for motor boating, jet skiing, canoeing, and birdwatching, enrich the range of leisure pursuits. Essential services, including medical care and a bank/ATM, are nearby, as are shopping and sightseeing in the historic town of Enkhuizen (approximately 1.2 km to the city center, 2 km to the train station, 45 km to the airport).
