About Our Holiday Park

Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.

The Enkhuizer Strand Chalet MeerZeit Haus Nr. 212 is a modern, freestanding chalet located within the EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand holiday park in Enkhuizen, Netherlands. Built in 2021, this single-level accommodation offers a luxurious and comfortable setting for families, couples, and small groups seeking relaxation or outdoor activities beside Lake IJsselmeer.

With a generous living space of 70 square metres set on a spacious 450 m² plot, this chalet combines contemporary design, exceptional comfort, and outstanding views. The accommodation comprises two bedrooms with a total of four sleeping places. Both bedrooms are fitted with beds featuring open foot ends – a practical detail especially appreciated by taller guests. With a well-thought-out room layout and blackout options, restful nights are ensured for all visitors.

The elegant bathroom is equipped with a level-access (walk-in) shower, and there is an additional guest WC for convenience. A washing machine and dryer (both for communal use) are available, catering to the needs of longer stays or families with young children.

The open kitchen is fully furnished, featuring an induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator with separate freezer compartment, dishwasher, and a Nespresso machine, as well as all essential utensils, crockery, and cutlery. A dining area and separate table offer ample space for shared meals and convivial evenings.

Guests benefit from fast Wi-Fi (100 Mbit/s and above, via cable or fibre), a large TV (44–55 inch) with international channels, and a comfortable living area with a sofa and armchair, making this chalet suitable for both leisure and work. Climate control is ensured by an efficient solar heating system and air conditioning, ensuring pleasant temperatures in all seasons.

The extensive outdoor area features a private terrace and a garden with lawn, sun loungers, sunshade, and outdoor furniture. Privacy and tranquillity are guaranteed by the freestanding position of the chalet. A private, free parking space is located directly at the property, and there is even a charging station for electric vehicles.

This child-friendly chalet welcomes families with small children and babies. A playground and several play areas are part of the surrounding holiday park, making the location particularly attractive for families. Additionally, one pet (dog or cat) is welcome at this chalet.

The EuroParcs Enkhuizer Strand holiday park is situated just 200 metres from the lakeshore. Various water sport options such as sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, motorboating, jet skiing, kayaking, and waterskiing are available locally. The area is popular for jogging, cycling, Nordic walking, hiking, birdwatching, and fishing. Shopping opportunities and restaurants are only 500 metres away, and Enkhuizen’s historic old town with its sightseeing attractions is just 1.2 km from the accommodation. A golf course is located 10 km from the property, and the train station is only 2 km away. Supermarkets, doctors, hospitals, and ATMs can be quickly reached as well.

With smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, fly screens, blackout facilities, and the non-smoking policy, the chalet also sets high standards for safety and comfort.
