Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.

The chalet occupies a generous 70 m² living space and is set on a fully enclosed, child- and pet-friendly plot measuring 450 m². With a maximum of two pets allowed, it is especially accommodating for guests traveling with children and dogs. The property is equipped with a range of thoughtful amenities, ensuring both relaxation and convenience throughout your stay.

The interior features an open-plan living and dining area seamlessly connected to a fully equipped open kitchen. This modern kitchen is fitted with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, and all necessary utensils, making self-catering both easy and enjoyable. The dining area offers an inviting space for shared meals, while the living area, furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, provides direct access to the terrace through large windows.

There are two separate bedrooms, both designed with restful comfort in mind. The chalet accommodates four guests in total, including beds with open foot ends, which is particularly appreciated by taller guests. Ample storage is provided through wardrobes in the bedrooms. The bathroom includes a walk-in, barrier-free shower as well as a washbasin and WC, while a separate guest WC adds further convenience.

The equipment of the chalet leaves little to be desired. High-speed Wi-Fi from 100 Mbit/s, a large flat-screen TV (between 44 and 55 inches) with international channels, as well as climate control (solar heating and air conditioning), ensure that guests can relax in a modern living environment during all seasons. For families with young children, the enclosed garden, a children’s playground, and the child- and dog-proof fencing offer optimal safety.

The outdoor area is equally impressive. The spacious, fenced garden features a sunbathing lawn, comfortable sun loungers, and a terrace, inviting you to enjoy relaxing hours outdoors. A parasol provides shade on sunny days, and you will find a table and chairs for al fresco dining with views of the exceptional surrounding scenery. The chalet offers extraordinary views over both the landscape and the water, with impressive lakeside and seascape vistas.

It occupies a second-row position just 200 metres from the sandy lake beach, allowing for easy access to swimming and a variety of water sports such as canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, paddle boating, and motor boating. The area is also ideal for long walks, jogging, cycling, Nordic walking tours, and birdwatching.

For daily needs, a supermarket is conveniently located within 500 metres, as are several restaurants. The historic city centre of Enkhuizen is only 1.2 kilometres away and offers shopping, sightseeing, and cultural attractions. A doctor, hospital, and ATM are all in close proximity, and guests arriving by car benefit from a free private parking space and an on-site charging station for electric vehicles. Additional amenities such as a central washing machine and dryer (communal use), vacuum cleaner, fire extinguisher, and smoke detector contribute to safety and cleanliness.
