About Our Holiday Park

Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.

The living room features a 44-55 inch TV with international channels and fast WLAN (from 100 Mbit/s, e.g., cable or fiber), ensuring a relaxing and connected stay.

The chalet accommodates up to four people in two bedrooms, each with beds featuring open foot ends and blackout options for restful sleep. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in, level shower and a separate guest WC, offering ample comfort and privacy for all guests. An additional mirror, washbasin, and high-quality fixtures complete the practical amenities.

The open kitchen is fitted with an induction stove, built-in oven, microwave, refrigerator with integrated freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine, along with sufficient crockery and utensils, simplifying meal preparations. The vibrant dining area encourages social gatherings after a day at the beach or exploring Enkhuizen.

One particular highlight is the spacious terrace, accessible directly from the living area. Here, you can fully enjoy the exceptional sea view and surrounding landscape, relax under the sunshade, or savor outdoor meals in the fresh coastal air. Shopping opportunities, restaurants, and supermarkets are within 500 meters, and both the city center (1.2 km) and the train station (2 km) are easily accessible. There is also a doctor, hospital, and bank/ATM located nearby.

Additional amenities include a washing machine and tumble dryer (both communal use), vacuum cleaner, wardrobe, coat rack, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, insect screens, and blackout options. Sustainable heating is provided by a modern solar system and air conditioning ensures comfortable indoor temperatures. The property is also equipped with a guest WC for added convenience and safety features, such as a smoke detector and fire extinguisher.
