About Our Holiday Park

Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.

Two modern bathrooms—both with walk-in, floor-level showers—deliver comfort for even larger families or groups. Additionally, two guest toilets add to your convenience.

The living room, with a comfortable sofa and armchair ensemble, invites you to unwind after a beach day. A large television (44–55 inches) with international channels and fast Wi-Fi (over 100 Mbit/s, e.g. via cable or fiber) ensure entertainment and connectivity for all guests. The living room is adjoined by an open-plan kitchen, which is excellently equipped with an induction stove, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, complete cooking utensils, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a separate filter coffee maker. A dining area with a large table provides ample space for shared meals.

The BeachHouse places a strong emphasis on sustainability and modern technology. Heating is provided via a solar-powered system, and guests with electric vehicles will appreciate the dedicated charging station, accompanied by two private, cost-free parking spaces on the property.

Outdoor living is as comfortable as indoors: The terrace is securely enclosed, child-safe, and furnished with a table, garden chairs, sun loungers, and a sun umbrella—ideal for relaxing in the fresh sea air. The garden offers additional green space for play, sunbathing, or quiet moments. Fliegengitter on the windows, a fire extinguisher, and smoke detector add to your security and comfort.

Families are particularly welcome: The house is located in a holiday park with playgrounds, sports facilities such as table tennis, and a wide range of activities. Community washing machines and dryers are available for guests’ use.

Enkhuizen and its surroundings offer numerous leisure and sports opportunities: swimming, cycling, Nordic walking, jogging, hiking, water sports such as sailing, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, waterskiing, and birdwatching. The proximity to a golf course (10 km away) and shopping (supermarkets nearby), as well as restaurants (approx. 500 m), ensures variety and convenience. Sightseeing, romantic evenings, and tranquil beach walks are just as feasible as active holidays. Medical facilities and financial services (bank/ATM, doctor, hospital) are in the immediate vicinity.
